So me and dh are returning my current e-ring and are interested in looking to buy from Brilliant Earth, which is online. I’m not sure what size to get however, since I can’t try the rings on in person. The one I am interested in is the 5.5mm or 6mm width ring that usually equals a carat or so. But the picture online doesn’t show what a real hand would look like with it on.
Any Bees out there have one? I have a size 4.25 finger so I’m looking for similar Bee’s out there!

mrsdoodlebop: You’re referring to a 1 ct sapphire right? A round 1 carat sapphire faces up the same as about a .65 carat diamond. Sapphires are denser than diamonds and therefore are smaller than diamonds of the equivalent weight.
5.5mm diameter = about .65 carat diamond
6mm diameter = about .8 carat diamond
Here’s a chart: http://www.gemfacts.com/grading/carat.aspx
That said, I chose a 5.5mm sapphire solitaire for my size 5.5 finger and I love it! No pics because my SO hasn’t officially proposed yet, so he’s hidden the ring from me.

I purchased online too! We got my ring from since1910.com. Mine is 1.15 carats. My finger is 4.5.

My ring size is a 4.5 but I think it should be rezised, it flings around a lot. My centre is a 1.08ct equiv 🙂

Hey, I hope this helps! Here’s my 1ct sapphire ring -it’s like a 5mmx7mm I think. I think I’m a US 5 so slightly bigger than you but should give an idea.
