Small intimate wedding.. Feeling guilty for not inviting everyone.

You do know that many,  many posters here are not American don’t you ? (silly question,  you obviously don’t )

Also, the objections to calling  it a ‘wedding’ are logically, not culturally based . Nobody of any race religion or creed is saying  OP cannot have her ‘dream’ ceremony ,the objection is to calling it a ‘wedding’ . Which  it is not, any more than a very small wedding with  only close family/friends  guests is an ‘elopement’.

Seems odd to me that someone would put off TTC to have a “wedding” when they’ve been married already for two years… 

Op, do whatever you want. Invite whomever you want. I honestly don’t think people will be as hurt for not receiving an invite as you think. Everyone knows you’re already married. Just have a good time with whomever you can afford to invite.
