Anyone have a picture of a small diamond pear halo? I have finally picked out a setting and I have a .61 carat diamond picked out too. Wanting to know if that’s too small? The diamond measurements are 7.22 by 4.77. Any examples I could see? I have a ring size of 6.
The ring is $3,500 thoughts?

3,500 for .61 seems like a lot of $
Check out Sillyshiny. (Im not sure the model’s ring size, but Im sure you could ask) she has a photo up with 3 of them on one finger

This is a five by seven pear from Rosadosbox. It’s gorgeous and the size is fine if that’s what you’re after. Only you can really say if it’s too small or not, I have a five by seven pear cz stand in that I got engaged with, and I adore it, but full disclosure I am going with a nine by six when I order mine because I went in to a store and tried out a bunch of different sizes to see which one was right for me. If you’re concerned, I suggest going in a trying them out.

For your budget, you could get around 0.80 carats H SI1 in a halo setting from James Allen. However, if the 0.60 ct stone you have selected is a high colour with very little bow-tie, and you know that you like the setting, it might not be a bad option, as pears do show colour a little more than rounds or emerald cuts.

https://www.diamdb.com/ Will give you an example of how the diamond would look on your finger. Adding a halo will add finger coverage.

I don’t think it does any good to compare prices. It just depends on the store, the time of the year, what discounts the store offered at that time… Originally I was going to get my set from Silly Shiny. It was about $3,800 for a .7 ct pear center with a chevron wedding band. When I was ready to buy, the price was already $4,400. Now it’s about $5,200.
So I went on James Allen and got my ring which is better quality and a bigger diamond, and was cheaper – James Allen happened to have a sale (10% off) at the time.

.92 center š diamond on a size 5 finger. I’d say that’s a little pricey but it depends a lot on the specs of the stone too. I don’t think it will be too small! Pears face up much larger than most other shapes.
