If it makes you feel any better, I’ve always had a small amount of vericose veins in my right leg.. well, since puberty. It drives me nuts. My mom and both grandmothers had/have wicked bad ones. I saw a doctor once about getting them fixed because they can be painful, and he said to wait til after I had kids because they’d only get worse when pregnant. Welp, now here I am, in my 3rd tri, and indeed they are getting worse. Still none on the left leg but the right leg is not looking so good. I’m trying not to think about it too much, it gets me too down.

Also, I have bad backne ever since being pregnant, and my husband thinks it’s okay to comment on it. Like “Wow! You never had any zits on your back before, now you have a ton!” Thanks, guy.

And finally, I know your pain of eyebrow theft all too well. I’ve cried over stolen eyebrows. Try using pencil til they grow back in.

But at the end of the day, it’s ok to cry about all these things!!

@MacFaniam24: (((hugs))) I’m 40 weeks and have been crying all damn day 🙁 sometimes pregnancy does suck! The last 10 weeks have been rough for me – I think it’s okay to cry! Hopefully we can look back & laugh soon

@MacFaniam24: You’re definitely not alone!! I think it’s a circulation thing, with left leg being closer to the heart=better circulation. I try to sleep on my left side in case it will help prevent them from getting even worse.

I’m sorry!  ((((HUGS)))))

Could you take some time out for a little pampering?  A facial, pregnancy massage, or even a nice bath would probably do you a lot of good!  I know it really helps me when I’m sick of being pregnant!

Darling Husband keeps commenting on my skin tags and darker moles and it drives me nuts!!

@MacFaniam24: I’m sorry you’re having a rough go of it lately!  I hope you feel better soon.  Have you looked into compression stockings for the vericose veins?  They might help keep the vv from getting worse at least.  My sister works in the maternity ward and that was one of her first suggestions for my pregnancy since my mom had horrible vv with me.
