Tabard Inn is a fantastic choice; it really is one of the best restaurants in the city, and has been for years. 1789 is another excellent choice. While I can’t remember its name, the restaurant on the top level of the Kennedy Center is worth looking into, assuming your wedding date is on a performance date when they’d be open. The food at The Tabard Inn would be a notch better than at the Kennedy Center, but the Kennedy Center terrace has stunning views over the Potomac which would be a really breathtaking background for wedding photos. That’s inside the restaurant but also an open-to-everyone outdoor terrace. Best views on DC. By The Way that’s the full-service restaurant in the Kennedy Center, not the KC Cafe which is more casual.
