Hey bees! About 3 months away from my date.
I was at BHLDN the other day and saw a ton of cute little items.. but also found things I hadn’t thought of to buy or forgot about, like a garter?
I was wondering what fellow brides could offer as advice of small things to buy, to remember? I feel like all the major things are handled so trying to think of what small stuff I may be missing.
Any useful lists online or places to check that out would be helpful! Thanks all!

Hi bee, some things on my ‘small detail’ list;
– Personalised hangers for bridesmaids (just made these myself as I think they’re nice for photos)
– Cake knife (my venue doesn’t have one!)
– Ring cushion (again just nice for photos)
– Confetti canons
– petals for flower girl to scatter
– nice umbrellas (UK wedding so likely to rain!!)
– nice pjs for morning to get ready in

I hardly got any of the small things… It’s up to you though, I just tried to get things that we would use again or things that we could have in our house (ie. cake toppers were ‘Pops’ of Belle and the 10th Doctor… cause they are some of our favourites and we would have them in our house).
‘Little things’ I was worried I would forget:
Ring book (didn’t want a pillow- we used a hollow book cause we will reuse it)
Something to put cards in- we used little fake travel chests cause we had a honeymoon fund
Decorations for the card table
Cake topper (we used ‘pops’ pf Belle and the 10th Doctor… cause we may have a collection and picked pops that kind of looked like us). We used the venues knife to cut it…
Decorations for the table
stuff for the boys- ties, socks (cause I got that too…)
Things other people used that I was tempted by:
Cake serving set
Pretty toasting glasses
present for the MOB and MOG
umbrellas- forcast with a week to go was POURING rain, and it was 39c! Hottest day of the Summer holidays!
pretty ‘getting ready’ and night of stuff
garter (not my thing…)
a whole lot of stuff I found on etsy and resisted somehow!

- Wedding: September 2015 - Hotel Ballroom
We somehow COMPLETELY forgot about the card box until the day before our wedding. The venue had one they let us use, but it was pretty generic…and at the end of the night they took it back and dumped all our cards on the table without telling us…good thing nobody stole them!

-Escort Cards/Seating Chart

Here’s the list of small things I keep forgetting about/almost forgot about:
folders for the ceremony readers
vow booklets for Fiance and I (we’re writing our own)
signage (hashtag, cupcakes, etc)
We got toasting flutes as an engagement present, which was lovely because I wouldn’t have even thought of that!
