Hmm a dilemma. It’s 15 minute ceremony and then standing about for a full hour of pictures. Then again won’t they all actually be in the family pictures? If that’s the case then they will be occupied as it were. So that’s only half an hour  to just chat and mill about which most people would be ok with l would think.

rened151 :  Is there any way you’d be willing to get many of those photos out of the way before the ceremony?

Honestly they can just watch ya’ll take pictures and mingle. This one girl had a big wedding like 100 ppl maybe and that’s what we did. Ppl are there to see you, they don’t need passed orderbs before dinner and will be caught up in the excitement of catching those special pictures!

Have champagne available after your ceremony? They can mingle and drink champagne!

Honestly, it’s not very cool to make your guests wait for more than the time it takes to get to the venue. I think you have two choices, either a first look and photos first or host cocktails and appetizers at the ceremony site or restaurant and join people a half hour late.
