Our wedding is coming up in just a couple weeks, and I’m just wondering if anyone else is doing anything similar. We are having our small wedding on a Monday, all of our family lives out of town and is flying in so it didn’t make much of a difference what day of the week it is on. We are inviting just a handful of our local close friends, altogether there will be 15 people in attendance including the bride and groom. We our renting a small amphitheater like area in the foothills of the mountains for the ceremony and will have a dinner reception after at a restaurant about 20 minutes away. Guests will arrive to the ceremony at 3:30pm, ceremony will start at 3:45pm, family/friend pictures to start at 4:00pm, pictures of bride and groom at 4:30pm, and all pictures will be done by 5:00pm. I am wondering what all the guests should do while pictures are being taken? Since our family is not local some of them will not know how to get to the restaurant and are not very high tech enough to use there phone maps.. Should we just have them waiting around or try to send them all to dinner and arrive later? We do not have a private room at the restaurant because we do not have enough people. Also this is a unformal event kind of, invitations were not sent out everyone was invited by word of mouth. Did anyone else have a tiny wedding like this?? Any advice is greatly appreciated!!
