Small weddings are so incredible! I say go for it. I’ve been to a few small under 50 people wedding and they were amazing.

We didn’t have a “small” we had about 100 guests but when we renew our vows we’ll prob keep it small!

We had a small wedding exactly 50 day guests and about 85 evening guests it was in a lovely small converted rustic barn in the grounds of a hotel had lots of charm with beams and candles, etc. Which also meant not a lot was needed decoration wise just some bunting. Was perfect for us! In the evening we cleared most of the tables away and had a disco and people could move around from the barn to the hotel as they wanted

We are having a small (less than 30 person) wedding. We’ve both been married previously and did they “big wedding” thing. We’re just going to keep it super simple, going out to dinner afterwards with our families and enjoying the low key day.

I will be having a small 30 person or less wedding on the beach in Florida next May.  I would have been happy eloping but FI wanted the real deal so this is our compromise.

i wanted 50-80 people, Darling Husband wanted 300.  my mom graciously paid for our wedding and we had 118 people. it was sophisticated and elegant.

We’ve got approximately 10 guests for ours. It’s so small that not even all of our parents are invited (quite deliberately). Basically I wanted to elope but we compromised slightly and decided to keep it to 10.

naturallyd86 :  Thank you 😊 I definitely prefer the vibe of a smaller wedding feels more special

We agreed from the start that a small guest list was preferable. 50 or less including us. 😆 Strictly family and close friends. People who genuinely care about us and vice versa. No misc cousins we haven’t seen in over a decade, parents friends we’ve never met etc., Planning more of an intimate and casual hangout vibe than big party event.

ideally, we wanted less than 50, and ended up inviting 63 (including people that can’t make it, but we should invite). I just gave up the fight with our parents to be honest (it’s their friends that pushed us over…)

Less people, less stress, more focus on enjoying my FH and guests. Planning a small wedding 50-75 and super happy about it. Having a big wedding sounds overwhelming and not to mention way too expensive.
