We are having a small wedding – about 30-35 guests in the South or Western ‘burbs. I am having trouble coming up with some nice locations for such a small guest list — any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
If you had a small wedding – any advice, info, etc would also be appreciated. I am still coming to terms with a smaller wedding – we had to downsize so I’m trying to get inspired! 🙂
Thanks so much!

Check out the Wilder Mansion in Elmhurst. I thought it would be beautiful for a smaller wedding. Good Luck : )

Maison Sabika in Naperville, and of the Francesca’s restaurants (they usually have very nice decor) I like the one in St. Charles and IN Naperville. There is also a place in Plainfield (I can’t remember the name) that is a beautiful restaurant in an old church, which might be very charming for a reception. I’m having a 30 person wedding in Chicago at Volo WineBar. If you are interested in having the wedding in the city, they are great, really professional and knowledgable and host alot of weddings in their back garden.

Hi – there is a place in bolingbrook – The Levy Center – its unconventional but can be really beautiful. My mom manages the hall and they always do an awesome job. We had our ceremony there outside in the garden – I can send you pics if you want to PM me.

We had a 52 person wedding at Zed 451 in River North in Chicago. I know they do even smaller. It’s a gorgeous, modern-looking private room on the second floor with an electric fireplace.

I’ve been MIA, but thankyou all for your responses.
We changed up our guest list a little bit, so we will be having around 60 people and we found a golf course who gave us a great deal.
Again, thank you for your suggestions, I really do appreciate the help!
