@bubblezjen:  I want to go to your wedding.  A s’mores bar sounds AWESOME.

I found these http://www.plushpuffs.com/ordering and I want to order a few different flavors and then some different graham crackers and different types of chocolates. I’m not sure of the set up yet, I still have to figure out where the table will be.

I am considering doing this as well. I plan on buying a book (I’m a bit of a book lover!) that teaches how to do home made marshmellows…I think it’ll be more of a “fancier” smore. Plan on offering several chocolates – Herseys, Reeses, etc.

As for platters, I was either thinking of getting them from Winners (or TJ Maxx – USA). I seen gorgeous large silver platters – wish I gotten them but have an idea. Also seen a smore bar that was set up with baskets and silver tin buckets (not sure what they had inside to prevent the marshmellows from sticking)… OR depending on your colours, there’s really nice white plates at Dollorama that could be bought and would look unified.

We would be having a bonfire, so my main concern for this is where to get sticks in bulk!

So glad I clicked on this post!  Thank you kmsw, I am totally using that idea for my favours at the table!  My wedding is at the lake and we plan on having a bonfire after dinner during our reception so people can enjoy themselves outside or in.  I loveee that idea 🙂

I haven’t decided between a “bar” or the little bundles as favors.

Also, fyi,  there are these jumbo campfire marshmellows that are HUGE and would look super cute too. I saw them at Ross and Wal Mart. They’re like 2 inches tall or something, and they look delicious!

We’re doing a fire pit, I don’t like those chemical fires all over my food.

@LuluInLove:  oh and sticks!! Where are you guys getting yours? I saw some long ones on amazon that have good reviews but I haven’t decided.

We are doing a s’mores bar too!! Our venue has two operational fireplaces so we are going to set it up at one of the fireplaces. So excited! Just have to think of an amazing way to display all the ingredients.

I just found these mini hibachi grills from a wholesale company.  If you buy a case of them they are $4.95 a piece!!!

My wedding is taking place on the grounds of a historic mansion.  So they are very picky about the open flame issue.  So I think these should work just fine.

If anyone is interested in splitting the cost on them definitely let me know!  My wedding is June 22, 2013.
