My husband is about 3″ taller than me, and I wore flats, so I was slightly shorter than him, but pretttty close to being equal. I’m at work so I don’t have access to any photos to upload, but I promise it won’t matter!

I’m 5’9 and my fiance is 6’1, when I wear heels I am the same height as him. I plan to wear flats with my wedding dress 🙂

Well, if you’re the same height that’s life. Want to know what’s even more awkward? My father never accepting that my mother is taller than him and always having us stand in front of stairs so that he can stand on the first step and look taller.

@Zusie: that’s crazy!!!

I’m 5’9 and hubs is 6’1, so if I wear any kind of heel I’m about his height or taller. Doesn’t bother either of us at all. He’s actually really short compared to my family too

I have this issue with my man.. We are the SAME height (I am pretty tall 5’10)… I think it shouldnt be a huge issue, at least its not going to be for me— I’m wearing flats, and I might see about some special shoe inserts for Fiance if he agrees to it, Haha! But, I wouldn’t worry about it if I were you 🙂

@Mrs.Candi: H2B and i are both 5’6 and not model proportioned. All our party are skinny minis and the best man is over 6 foot.

ok so we might look like oompa loompa’s but we are who we are and our photos will show that

i fell in love with H2B just the way he is and i will marry that man just the way he is.

your photos will show you relax and enjoy your day he is not going to grow just for one day.

dont fret about what you can’t change :0)

I’m 5’3 and he’s 5’5 I was wearing 3′ heels here. I used to care, but I don’t give a flying rats ass anymore. 😛 I sort of arch my back and shift weight between legs, and you lose about a inch in height when you do so.

I am 5″ taller and here is an engagement picture – it does not bother me and everyone always says we are cute together (except for my SIL but oh well)

The photographer we had really tried to minimalize the height difference but we did not tell her to – we do not care

I’m 5’9″ and hubby-to-be is 6 ft.  I’ll be rocking some 3 inch heels though and actually tried them on and had him stand next to me.  He’ll only be a smidge taller (we’re talking probably 1/2 inch) and we’re both ok with it.

I just can’t wait until we see the photos of my dad walking me down the aisle since he’s only 5’7″ and I’ll be a solid 5inches taller, ha.

@unixfairy: So encouraging! I am 6′ tall and 4″ taller than Fiance. In our engagment pictures you cant tell because he was wearing tall shoes and I was in flats, but at the wedding even though my shoes are flats his arent as tall and I was so worried we were going to look goofy
