Veggie tray?

So where is this snack going to be served? Are guests hanging out in the vestibule of the church, etc., while you take pictures, before they go to the reception? Are you thinking of something they grab on the way out the door as they are leaving the ceremony site to go to the reception (i.e. something they’d eat on the way)?

If there will be crackers, cheese, veggies, etc. as soon as they arrive at the reception, I wouldn’t worry about giving them a snack. If they are standing around sipping iced tea somewhere, then maybe a fruit tray or something … I’m just a little unclear on the logistics of all of it, though.

I agree with the second poster… they’re not too heavy and perfect for snacking!

How long is the gap?

I have a gap too about 2 hours but I am allowing it for travel time and for pepole to eat at theire own leasure.

our time is 12:30-2:30 so people who didn’t eat before can take the time to eat or what ever they want.

I don’t think any guests would be expecting a snack during the break-

however apples would be good =] and little bags of chips or gold fish or something like that ?

@emileekay:  what time is the ceremony and what time does the reception start, and are they at the same location?

@emileekay:  Where would the snacks be served? At the ceremony location?

I made up little snack sized ziploc bags of trail mix, granola bars and fruit leather. People seemed to really like them. We hardly had any leftovers.

I’d actually suggest moving your cheese trays to after the ceremony.
