I would totally go taco bar or pizza bar. Or maybe little sliders?

We had a pizza bar at our reception after dinner, sadly NOBODY ate off it. Not a single person😭 I questioned the characters of my guests after that for a long time… who doesn’t love a pizza bar!

snugs :  based on the above comment or, I’d suggest choosing something people can just grab a handful of and wander off again. It sounds like for pp, her guests had enough at dinner that the ‘real’ food was wasted. My suggestion is fruit, nuts, chocolate, pretzels and the like instead

although personally I‘d happily forgo dinner for a Mac and cheese bar, lol

Cheese, biscuits/crackers, bread, chutneys, grapes? That’s gone down well at a wedding I went to. They even stacked the cheese to begin with like a wedding cake.

Or a sweet bar with sweets/candy, cupcakes etc

I’d LOVE a popcorn bar at a wedding.  It’s salty – but you can add sweet things to it as well – and can be put in cute to-go bags for people.  I honestly always go for salty food after drinking or a night out, and would love something like this over sweet, hands down.

If you have a crowd that likes to drink, I definitely recommend something with some substance! Every wedding I’ve been to that serves either pizza, sandwiches, etc. Is a big hit! Actually a lot of them run out of food!

I’m having a fry bar (everyone that knows me knows I frickin LOVE French fries) and a milk and cookies bar!

It’s right after dinner so people might not want anything meal like?  I was thinking just a small snack or a side that people will go for.  Mac and cheese really sound delicious though!

We ordered pizza to arrive 30m before ending and there wasn’t any left over after. Perfect way to soak up the alcohol before the after party. Mac and cheese sounds heavenly!

I say popcorn! For one, I’m addicted to it. It’s my weakness. And for two, it can be either sweet or savory.

At my sister’s wedding, we brought out pizzas at around 10 pm and they were a huuuge hit. Not a single piece was left. Drinking and dancing makes everyone hungry!

I would do something warm, savory & bite sized- kind of perfect for helping absorb the alcohol towards the end of a long party.  Cheeseburger sliders and little paper cones of fries, tiny pizzas (like 4”), grilled cheese half sandwiches, etc. Your pretzel bar idea is perfect!

Cookies and popcorn will probably go untouched especially if you had cake and possibly other desserts earlier in the evening.
