..and it was stunning!
Seriously, it was everything I ever dreamed of, and more. I have NO complaints, other than my mother being crazy (she wanted me to help her with her makeup, she wanted me to call all of the guests from IN to tell them the waterpark was open afterall, and she dressed like she was going to the prom with a dress complete with a train, tons of jewelry, and a fancy fancy updo that she wanted to put gems in).
The cake was STUNNING…it looked like a castle with a dragon spiraling up the side and flames coming out of his mouth. I mean, check it out!!!
And everyone told me I was a the most beautiful bride they had ever seen. I bawled my eyes out during the ceremony (I was so emotional to be marrying the man of my dreams), especially when I was saying my vows. Someone came up to me and said I inspired them for their own wedding!
Everything was proof you can do it on a budget! Fiance had bought swords for the Groomsmen presents and they all loved them. Several people came up to us saying they wished they had swords at their wedding when they had gotten married! 🙂 And I danced my ass off. After everything I went through with my family, I stopped worrying what they thought and let myself do all of the booty dancing I wanted. It was a BLAST!
I’ll never forget the little boy in the lobby of the hotel that, when he saw Fiance and I. said “Woahhhhh, is that a real sword?!” another one said “Yeah! And look at the princess too!” Because I had a blue velvet cloak on for photos.
