With much inspiration from emJae’s invitations (http://diy.weddingbee.com/topic/diy-pocketfold-invitations), and MANY, MANY hours put in by my mom and my brother, figuring out printer settings and the setup in photoshop, here is the finished product of our invitations. I LOVE them! This is just a sneak peek. I will eventually post all the information, but I just had to share.

Wow, so, so, so amazing. Super impressive — may try to tackle something similar (can’t draw a straight line with a ruler….)

Thanks ladies! Like I said, it was A LOT of work. And many emotional tears on my end. lol But that could just be me. So far, the invitations and guest list process have been the hardest part of the wedding planning. The paper we used was really thick and textured, so the printer was having trouble accepting it. Probably over 100 hours went into it. So it caused a lot of stress, which made me feel bad because the stress was placed on my mom and brother when it came to the printer stuff and photoshop stuff. I’m not very proficient in either area, they are! So I owe them HUGE! Once we are done, and I have time, I will go through and type up the process, to help anyone out that would like to be ambitious enough to try and DIY something similair.
