I got a regular full body pillow from a department store and it was less than $30. $60 seems a little insane to me if it’s just a normal body pillow.

I have the Boppy full body pregnancy pillow, which looks similar to the Snoozer. The regular body pillows didn’t cut it for me during pregnancy, the ones that are made for that purpose curve in a certain way that gave my belly and/or back way better support. Only downside is it kind of creates a wall between Darling Husband and myself in bed, but I’ve had much less back pain since I started using it last week (and I’m 22 weeks pregnant).

@CindyRelly:  a lot of things tell you to get your pre-pregnancy size. because their shirts are made similar but with the rouching etc to stretch. if you go online to the website there should be size charts. dont stress it too much, if you buy some things before jan 14th you can still return/exchange those after!

Interesting to hear what makes the pillow different.  I hug a pillow between my boobs(need extra support) and between my knees.  Is this how you sleep with it?

I have a giant pregnancy pillow, it’s like a candy cane shape (not sure if that’s the same as what you have? there seem to be a lot of different ones). I LOVE MINE!!! Darling Husband hates it because it takes up so much room in the bed, but I love having the support behind my back while I sleep and tucking the other side between my knees. It’s phenomenal. When we went away for our babymoon I didn’t sleep well without it.

For maternity clothes, go with your pre-pregnancy size. I bought some stuff a size up early on (like tank tops) since I wanted to wear it as my belly got bigger later on. I’d go try on pants though rather than buying them online though. My Old Navy jeans were 2 sizes bigger than normal even though it was apparently the same cut as the ones I bought pre-pregnancy. So weird.

@CindyRelly:  That pillow is going to be your best friend 😉 I fold the long side up and over and use it as a backrest if I just want to sit up in bed and read rather than lay down. It came with instructions on how to use it a million different ways. What kind of crazy pillow needs instructions?! LOL! I got mine via Walmart online for about $60 and it’s worth its weight in gold I tell you! So glad I bought it!

For the shirts, pre-pregnancy I was a medium or large, so I just stuck with buying larges. I went from a C to a D cup in the first 10 weeks, and I’ve stayed there since. I think even once my milk comes in I’ll still be able to fit into my D bras. The biggest change is actually in my ribcage/band size. I went from a 34 to a 40!!! ACK!

I have the snoozer pillow! It’s awesome! I have had sciatic nerve pain for the past few weeks and the pillow has definitely helped a lot with that.
