I love snow cones!  Is it an outdoor wedding?  If it is that would be a perfect begining or end to the BBQ menu!  Have you tried the hawaiian ice which is finer shaved ice than snow cones?

Snow cones sounds like so much fun! We’re planning on a BBQ-type menu, and are thinking of having a local ice cream place bring their cart over after dinner.

We had a sno cone machine at a work BBQ event last summer and it was a mess.  No one was dedicated to man it and there was syrup everywhere.  The machine was really loud too.

@JoJo Bananas:  I agree, they are really sticky and noisy.

I was in a group that sold sno cones at festivals during the summer for a good 10 yrs of my childhood.  The machines are super noisy when you need to shave more ice!  It’d be a little distracting.  It’s also reallllly sticky, so I’d suggest having someone make them for the guests, so they don’t have to deal with the syrup and their nice clothes!

I think it sounds like a fantastic idea though!  I’d toyed around with buying off an ice cream truck for our July 2 wedding, but Fiance wasn’t a fan =)
