No snow here in Vancouver! I took this picture out on a walk around the seawall yesterday.

julies1949:  why is it so warm there? I seriously didn’t believe this picture was real. I’m in Michigan and it’s 19° F here right now….I just assumed you are north of us so it’s cold there too.

ChristinaC598:  We are having a pineapple express right now where we get warm air over the Pacific from Hawaii. We broke temperature records yesterday. It was 14 C or 57F.

ChristinaC598:  Julies isn’t above you, she’s on the west. 🙂 I’m near toronto, and right now the temperature feels like it’s 3 degrees outside. There’s been snow on the ground for the past month.

Ugh I don’t even know about tomorrow yet, if the office is closed I’ll be OK. If transit is still out but the office is open, I’ll be obligated to walk 48 blocks in the snow while my Brooklyn and Queens coworkers take it easy and “work from home.”  But I’m not bitter about it

It got cut off!  Here’s the rest:

I hope I have the day off so we can stay in and cuddle and walk around the snowy streets together.  That’d be the dream 🙂

anon0668248:  technically she is NORTH West. So yes, she is West but still North of me Is what I meant. I didn’t expect them to be 30° warmer there.

I’m a (student) teacher and school has already been cancelled for tomorrow and Wednesday! Woohoo!

So far, all I’ve done is take a nap, drink wine, eat chips & salsa and binge watch Friends on Netflix. It’s going to be a very productive few days..

Yays for snow days! I think us teachers were more excited than the kids about it today! And my husbands office is also closed tomorrow, although he gets to work from home still, I am glad to know he will be safe! Oh, and my part-time job also closed early tonight, so I got a night off and a day off tomorrow, score!!
