@stardustintheeyes:  Let’s see… I live in Alberta, Canada and we’ve been snowed under since October. The snow won’t go away until the end of April.

We’ve had a cold snap for the past few days, and it’s just warmed up a bit. It’s currently -21C which according to Yahoo! weather is -6F.

I wish we had the OCCASIONAL snow storm.

Love,

Your bitter Canadian neighbor πŸ˜›

Lol in all seriousness I hope everyone drives safely and this storm isn’t causing anyone too much hardship.

I do hate the winters here with a passion… can’t wait to move somewhere warmer in a few years! We started the winter here with a bang back in October. The blizzard was so bad that there were over 300 accidents in my city in one day… and we’re all supposed to be used to driving in this weather.

I am in Montreal, Canada. Here are a few of my friend’s pics on facebook from our own Snow-Mageddon!! We are quite used to large quantities of snow but this was definately the biggest snow storm we’ve seen in a couple years….

@Petite_Fraise:  That looks so crazy!  I love snow! πŸ™‚

I was outside of Boston for the storm.  We got about 5 inches, but it was all overnight and cleared up by 11 the next day!

@stardustintheeyes:  Well Montreal, being the city it is, was built to function even in the biggest snowstorm. As you can see, public transportation is still running (not very efficiently though….) and most people travel by metro or an underground network that runs through the city.

@abbie017:  We got a little more than 40cm (16 ish inches). We already had a little to start though…

@Petite_Fraise:  Was just watching these on the weather network yesterday. I’m currently in Belleville, ON but living permanently in Kingston, and we’ve gotten absolutely mauled by snow the last two weeks too. That’s an insane amount. Hopefully it doesn’t all go right to slush (I hate the stuff!).

I guess I shouldn’t complain about my 12 inch blizzard in Iowa… πŸ™‚
