I had this idea shortly before my wedding, so obviously it was too late to use it if I wanted to. But I thought it could be really cute…
Have bridesmaids carry apples or apple blossoms.
Bright red bridal bouquet, skin done porcelain-perfect and red lipstick..
Could either wear te Snow White wedding gown or a ball gown.
A dramatic ‘dark woods’ theme for the reception, using black branches as tall centerpieces.
Write each guests name/table number on a red apple.
Deep red wine-looking punch…
You can poke fun by having a photo booth with oversized name tags that each guest could hold up in their picture, with the dwarfs names on it, aka “Dopey!”
Haha, just an idea π I love themed weddings that are done tastefully.

I was thinking about this kind of theme too! It was triggered by the Alfred Angelo Disney collection ad of Snow White. I am in love with that gown AND the theme, but it’s just not “us” so we went back to our orginial plan of a casual summer wedding. However, as I said, still in love with it and the dress just kills me every time I see it! *swoon* Here’s a picture of the ad that inspired me.

I love the light blue with the rich red and white! I had all these ideas of white on white venue, crystals hanging from silver branches, light blue shoes, red nails and lips, etc. I love the photobooth idea you mentioned!

What an amazing idea! If I were doing an indoor wedding I would sooo go with it! It would turn out lovely!
You could also do mirrors in fancy frames everywhere..
Maybe woods animals (deer, squirrels, etc.) on table numbers..

napabridekelsey – I didn’t even think of mirrors! Which is silly, since that’s like one of the main features of the movie lol! D’oh. I love the idea of having mirrors AND definitely the animals on table numbers.

Cool theme. Maybe you should apply for David Tutera’s My Fair Wedding. I bet he would do amazing things with it. π You might also add yellow and a smidge of black and/or navy to the color scheme. These remind me of her dress. Love the tall tree-type centerpiece idea, as long as you don’t go too dark. Maybe mix in some big silver branches for a little sparkle?
One thing that’s always confused me, I don’t see how this wedding gown is supposed to represent Snow White. Some of the other princess gowns look much more like their characters’ dresses. It’s still gorgeous though!

@ItsPronounced_ABear: The dress represents Snow White in a subtle way–the gown is covered in organza apple blossoms. π
I just did an article on a Snow White theme (and why this will be a huge upcoming trend) for a wedding….it’s short but cute and has a few etsy vendors, anyone can feel free to message me if you want the link π
I agree with the direction Kelsey went in–play up the mirror aspect and the woodland aspect. So much fun and so much poshness (for cheap) can be had with some sparkles, moss, bird picks and apples! I love how you can go very simple or over the top with this one. Happy Sigh.
