I do…but we live in HI. I have family in Seattle area so we GET OUR SKI ON once in awhile. I’m pregnant this year so I have to be satisfied with just talking about it. Where do u like to go? We like Whistler.

Oh man, I wish I was skiing this weekend!! I cannot waiiiit to get on the slopes, but since I have to travel about 5 hours to do so, it looks like I won’t be able to until January. But I can’t wait!!!

@Miss Mitzie: Ouch!! Did you cut off your coat b/c it was so swollen? That’s crazy. So glad you are ok and yes, semi curious about what it looked like to make your Fiance pass out.  I guess I gotta watch it on those bunny hops.

On the first run of the day a few years ago, a friend fell into a huge snowdrift which turned into a 5 foot hole with water on the bottom from the creek below. (It was marked off but he couldn’t control his snowboard very well.) When he climbed out, I begged him to go back and rest/dry off.  He insisted on snowboarding for the rest of the day, even though he was wet up to his shins. He turned out ok but yikes, I like to err on the side of caution and call it a day if anything crazy happens.

YES! Went on our first trip of the season last weekend to Mammoth. It was AWESOME. It snowed all day Saturday. FRESH POW, BRO! LOL.

We already have our next trip booked for NYE weekend. Can’t wait.

Darling Husband renewed my season pass as my wedding gift.

That’s crazy about your arm!! I kind of want to see the pic but not really. 😀 [attachment=1517160,191657]

@Miss Mitzie:

That is brutal! Even though I love boarding it is my biggest fear to end up seriously injuring myself (as I am an epic spaz).

We have been getting powder powder powder! lately (I think we have about 12 inches right now), but there are ZERO local trails, so I have to wait until I see my parents or inlaws to get out and enjoy it.

eta: @Theresa– Jealous. so so jealous! Holidays are coming up quick though, so I will be able to shred some powder very v. soon! 😀

Skier here!  We were out on Friday and Saturday as our resort has officially opened.  So far, only 2 of our kids are skiing but we’ll be starting our 4 yo during Christmas vacation.  Our 2 yo won’t ski for another 2 years.  Here are the current skiers – Dirty Delete (10) in pink, Me (in grey/burgundy), DS (6) in blue and Darling Husband crouched down.
