What do you think about snowcones at the reception? We are having our wedding outside in June in Mississippi. The theme is Southern picnic. We chose mint juleps as our signiture drink, but now I am thinking about changing to a snowcone machine with a mint julep or hurricane alcohol liquid for adults and a couple non-alcoholic flavors for the kiddos. I mean basically it would be drinks with shaved ice in a cute cup. What do you think?

A wedding I went to once had alcoholic snow cones. SUCH a fun idea! The only suggestion I have is to have fruit syrups on hand, as just pouring tequila over a snow cone was not the most delicious thing ever.

This is far from being my best wedding photo, but I love that you can see my snowcone! 🙂
They were a HIT- we had them as our “signature drink”, in our wedding colors (orange and green) during cocktail hour, then later in the night. Alcoholic ones had vodka, and virgin ones were also available. Do it in cups with spoons- you’ll thank me for it.

Very cute but messy, especially as people get drunk. As long as you figure out a way to curb that, this is a great fun idea!

UMMMM…AWESOME!!! I don’t drink and I would LOVE snow cone at a wedding. 🙂 And I think people who do drink would probably feel the same about the alcohol version.
