We are going to have a snowglobe cake topper because my father used to collect snowglobes for me when he traveled and my grandmother used to send me a disney snowglobe every year for Christmas. I think they’re so beautiful and they’re very special to me.
I was thinking about making some other snowglobes with something inside of them to put on some of the tables and have around the reception venue- but I am wondering if it is weird to have snowglobes all over for a fall wedding? A lot of people in my family know the importance that they hold, but my FI’s family won’t really know. I was thinking about filling them with glitter rather than snow, but is that still strange?
What do you think?

i think if thats important to you then do it.. My daughter also collects them and we get her one every xmas!!
i would look on ebay and online for ones that are fall related if you are concerned about the theme

I think you should do what makes you happy. You could always explain it somehow at the reception so everyone understands how special they are to you. Also, it snows here on November 10th some years, so it certainly wouldn’t be weird to me in a weather sense!

Do whatever makes you happy. Also, snow globes don’t need to have falling “snow” in them. It can be whatever. They’re beautiful all the time!

What if I did something like this with some of my old costume jewelry
I would put it on some of the tables with the centerpieces which look like this (just with 2 vases instead of 3, and no leaf wrap)
