@MissSangria:  Would you considering soldering them together? Then it wouldn’t spin but I think I would get the 3/4 just because it is the same as your e-ring. But if the price is that big of a difference and you weren’t wanting to pay that much. The 1/2 way around looks good too! Either way I like it together, it is not matchy-match but still compliments each ring.

My wedding band is very similar to yours and I had that same option (I actually wanted all the way around eternity but we couldn’t afford it).  I choose 3/4 around and I have it now and love it. So I say go with more diamonds 🙂

if theyre not soldered theyre almost never going to be aligned anyway, so I’d say save your money and stick with the 1/2 eternity!

I think if you got a channel setting similar to the small diamond settings on the sides of your engagement ring it might look more the way you want it……have you tried that?

@MissSangria:  I don’t know if it would bother me but I think it would bother you!  I think the cost is cheaper now to get the 3/4 than to buy the 1/2 and realize you regret it a few years down the line.

3/4 is worth the extra money.  with the 1/2 eternity, it will likely look like it has spun out of place almost all the time. with a 3/4 band, it will have a little more allowance for spinning.

plus, it does go with your ring better.

Both of mine are 1/2 eternity, and the spinning and slight showing of bare metal doesnt really bother me.  However, if I were to pick now, I’d definitely go 3/4.
