Pop-up ads and ads based on browsing history are driving me BONKERS. I know I’m not supposed to look at dresses now that I have one, but I’m still bombarded! If I go on David’s Bridal to look at a headband, the ads come up! On WeddingBee they come up! Everything in Google!
I love my dress and I want to never regret it. I’m having fun looking for boleros and sashes – which of course, drive more ads. But then something pops up that wows me a little and I feel all crumbly inside.
Today it’s a Vera Wang White dress that I thought was discontinued because it was gone from their website for a long time. It’s VW351096, the one with the pink floral print, but I dream about it in ivory. It reminds me of an Ian Stuart design with the draping and the peplum. I love Ian Stuart from afar. And I HATE that now I know this dress is back, available in ivory and in my size.
And what’s worse is that since it’s David’s Bridal, there’s the remote possiblity of an exchange! I hate that I know that!
I’m visiting my parents tonight so I’m going to visit MY dress, try it on for a bit, and think boleros and sashes. I will clear my browser caches on every computer I use. I cannot think about the psuedo-Stuart dress, I simply CANNOT.
How do I make this stop?
