@KaylaFromAR:  hmm I’ve never measured it, but I would say 2 mm (at most 3).

@KaylaFromAR:

it’s a 6.5 mm moissanite cushion, which is about a 1.3 carat equivalent but faces up similar to a 1-carat round brilliant. 5.25 finger.

@KaylaFromAR:  I agree, they definitely pop more on a thinner shank.  I have since moved the 1 ct stone to my other setting and placed a 0.75 ct diamond in the solitaire setting, and I still think the stone looks sizeable with the thickness.  Here is a photo of the setting with the 0.75 for reference

@KaylaFromAR:  5.5!  Its a close up view mind you, so that makes it look larger. Side by side you can see its quite a bit smaller, but the 0.75 has a really good spread.. it is 5.95 mm and the 1 ct is 6.44 mm

Bubblesmcgee:  I love your ring!! Did your guy get it from moissaniteco.com ? Also, do you think your stone sits low?  I want the same setting, I love the tappering and how the diamond looks to sit low in the setting.
