I’m not voting, because I dont really have a type.

But my Fiance is about 3 inches shorter than me (more on a bad day!) and weighs about 40-50lbs less.

But I’m not with him based on his looks or a type.

I do wish my fiancé was taller or I was shorter. I am about 3″ taller and I never wear heels, which I LOVE. So it’s sad that I can’t wear heels. ๐Ÿ™

SO’s all the things I checked off – he has an athletic build, he’s 9 inches taller than me, and he has a bigger/wider build than me. ^.^

For me, I’ve never had a laundry list of things I look for physically, but there’s one Must Not and one Strongly, Strongly Prefer.  He must not be, er, cushiony.  I prefer athletic builds, or lanky.  I’d definitely prefer too thin over overweight.  And my Strongly, Strongly Prefer is dark hair. ๐Ÿ˜›

@MrsMc77:  +1 I love em big and tall (my husband is 6’2″).  I have very specific tastes though (light hair, light skin, light eyes, must be over 6′, dimples, etc)

Although my SO is tall and thin/average, like pretty much all the guys I’ve dated in the past, I wouldn’t mind dating a man who would have an ”extra cushion”. I also like the type you describe : tall and a bit chubby. It doesn’t turn me on or off, it’s just not that relevant to wether or not I would feel attracted to him. In my life, I’ve met both thin and chubby men I thought were good-looking, smart, funny and charming, so ultimately, it comes down to the personality first. I do have my preferences though: I definitely don’t like the athletic/muscular hairless body type, or men that are too skinny. But anywhere from ”healthily thin” to chubby (but not obese) would be okay for me, physically speaking. As long as he has a satisfying amount of body hairs, of course ! Laughing

While I definitely don’t want to wear six inch heels (I would fall over), I have always dated tall guys. Tall, skinny, dark hair… And most of them are nerdy as well. I definitely have a type!

I like tall pudgy guys- just at least pudgy enough to be soft & squishy when you hug them. Super muscular guys have never particularly appealed to me- giant rock-hard muscles would not be comfy to snuggle on. I definately have a “type”, and although it’s not deal breaker for dating people at all, Fiance totally fits it.

I like ’em tall & with a little extra Laughing

My Ex was average height but really skinny and eh wasn’t my thing.

My current SO is not only my ideal man but I love his body. He’s about 6-7″ taller than me, muscular arms/legs and a little extra in the middle.

I feel safe in his arms, not like I would have to protect him in a fight because of spaghetti arms… like my ex!

I always loved the 6’3″ 300 pound guys. My high school boyfriend was a big guy like that.

I ended up with a 5’11” 155 pound guy. Totally ok with me as I wasn’t looking at physical appearance when I dating. He had the personality that made up for it ๐Ÿ™‚

I don’t like guys who are thinner than me. Most guys are taller (I’m 5’4″), though, which is good. I’m not fat, but I am definitely not thin!

I prefer average/athletic build and over 6 feet. My Fiance is 6’1″ and isn’t too big or too small, just right lol.

I’m 5’9″ and up until recently lived in an area with very short men so dating was hard. Even if they said they were 5’10” that usually meant ‘I’m 5’7″ and I try hard to look bigger.’

My Fiance is 6’5″ and built like a viking lumberjack (in fact, his has viking ancestors). It’s so perfect.

I am not into skinny guys! I prefer a muscular build, and I’d definitely take a little extra cushion over thin. Fiance is 6 inches taller and has the perfect build for me ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m a happy lady!
