- Wedding: October 2013 - Tybee Island, GA
is DEFINATLEY better than being engaged.
I have been married for 10 days now and I feel like i fell in love with my Darling Husband (*AHH THATS EXCITING TO WRITE) all over again. The “honeymooning” hasnt stopped even though we are back at work. It might be the newlywed phase but i absolutley love it! I love when people call me MRS. lol and i havent stopped gawking my wedding pictures!
I hate being away from my Darling Husband while im at work now more than EVER!
I enjoyed the dating phase, and enjoyed the engaged phase, but the wedding phase beats the other phases far more!!
So ladies enjoy it while you can, but look forward to being married to your best friend. I could honestly care less about the wedding part. Its getting to come home to your husband part that i love! 🙂

Yeah I feel like nothing has changed. Not in a sad way. I mean I am definitely more pleasant now that I am not stressing out about the wedding. That time spent getting things organized is now spent making dinner with my Darling Husband and cuddling on the couch. I feel really in love and excited but as far as anything else not much has changed. We practically lived together for 5 out of th 7 years we dated, we’ve shared billed for 3 years, and so there isn’t anything “new” for us. I am curious about those who just moved in with their spouse. How are things going?

I’m glad this is so exciting for you!!!! I feel like I’m gonna be like this after the wedding because Fiance and I won’t live together before we’re married so it will be so new and exciting! Congrats on being a Mrs. 🙂

@gigglebox: Congrats! And ditto everything you said! This is one of the reasons I’m so glad that Darling Husband and I didn’t live together before we got married. It makes being married seem so much more special:)

@miss narwhal: exact same situation with us!
I felt like I was a bride for only 5 minutes, compared to the 19 months I spent planning. holy crap did the day go by sooo fast.

I’m changing my name with everything tomorrow (bit slack, I know – huge issues with Births Deaths and Marriages but it’s all sorted now!) but apart from that, it feels no different to dating/being engaged to him. I just get to call him my husband 🙂

Just wait until you get pregnant (if children are in your future). I’m not sure if its the hormones or how amazing my husband is to me, but we have felt closest to eachother more than ever recently. I have literally never been happier than I am at this very moment. I’m so happy that marriage is looking good on the both of you! Yay!
