La Venta Inn but I checked out a lot of places….Santa Monica, Palos Verdes, Malibu and a few in Santa Barbara etc.

It was a lot more difficult than I thought to find a place to host a small wedding (less than 40ppl)

My dream locations to get married in would be the Humingbird Ranch in Simi Valley or Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu..

We had our reception at The Masonic Temple in Pasadena.  I LOVE it there because the rental fee includes the tables, chairs & security guards.  They also have an in-house caterer whose food is amazing and is very affordable.  You don’t have to use him but it an option.  Outside catering is welcome and they have a HUGE kitchen which you can use.  The best part is that you can bring in your own alcohol!  This place is HUGE and can accomodate a large wedding….separate room for the bar and/or buffet or ?  The entrance also has a huge area to hang out if you want to get away for a moment from the ball room area.  It is honestly the best place for the price.  Only $3,500 to rent on a Saturday.
