MemberI have a friend who does a lot of online dating and coffee is her “easy out” date. It’s so she doesn’t have to commit to a whole meal with him if she’s not 100% sold on him. Maybe the guy thinks it’s that?
Either way, that’s a way over reaction and you dodged a bullet. That guy is nuts!
MemberMemberThanks everyone for the support! I thought it was only me who felt that way about online dating and coffee dates. I had only chatted to this guy online and once over the phone and he seemed ok.
But it’s not like I really know him or anything. That’s why I thought the coffee date sounded like a good idea. It also seems like less pressure instead of the whole dinner/drinks thing.
Oh well, it can just be one of my terrible dates or in this case almost date stories!
