Did you test with a FRER? Were you using OPKs?

Technically I believe the sperm need to be there when the egg is released, so if you had sex after you ovulated that would be too late.

It’s really impossible to say for sure. It is very common to have wonky cycles and symptoms after coming off of BC pills (I definitely had myself convinced I was pregnant our first month trying). I would wait a few days and test again.

If it’s your first cycle off the pill, it’s entirely possible everything is just whack.  I wouldn’t read too nuch into anything and just see what happens if thats what you’re tryign to do.  Unless you’re doing OPKs and or charting, or want to go do a blood run to see where your hormone levels are to see wher ein the cycle you are, there is just no way to know.  My first cycle off the pill was 90 somethign days long with random spoting every few weeks.

kellynn323:  This could go either way, but if you ovulated on 10/20, you should get your period around 11/3. The thing is, when you have natural (non BCP) cycles, the time between ovulation and your period can feel very much like early pregnancy whether you’re pregnant or not. This is because progesterone naturally builds up during this time. This can mean sore boobs, headaches, dizziness, etc. without actually being pregnant. When people start to TTC, a lot of times these symptoms are hightened because you are hyper aware of what your body is doing. Basically, I wouldn’t freak out just yet, but wait and take another test around 11/3 when you should be expecting your period. As we always say, you’re not out until the witch shows, so it could go either way at this point. Welcome to the joys of TTC and the two week wait :/

whitums:  This exactly. If AF hasn’t arrived by 11/5, grab an FRER and test again.
