Aww, I’m sorry. I know this feeling. The best thing for me to do to get out of a funk is to play some mindless and fun computer game, like Cake Mania or something. Sounds dumb, but it helps! And having a soothing and comforting girly movie that I’ve seen 1000 times (like You’ve Got Mail or When Harry Met Sally) playing in the background. All that, plus curling up in bed. It helps.

Feel better.

I’m thinking a girls night out would help! Gather up your BM’s and banish all wedding talk! This will give you a chance to escape the wedding chaos, get your mind off the health issues, and reconnect with your girls. Hopefully that will help patch things up and send you back in the right direction. Hope your dad and Fiance get well soon.

@scissors…OMG my daughter got me hooked on Cake Mania!! I am laughing thinking about how many hours I spent making cakes on that darn game.

I’m so sorry!  Is there a group of friends you can go out with or a mindless game to play like scissors said?  I hope you feel better soon.

Try some of the new Delicious games. They’re addictive. I like them better than Cake Mania I think!

Who am I kidding, I love all of those dumb time-management games. I have 3 wedding planning ones. They’re so bad but SO FUN.

I’ve had to deal with stress myself- family kind ignored the fact that I was engaged for awhile (the still kinda do) because I’m still in college. I have to remind myself sometimes that what I’m really looking forward to something bigger (aka us getting married) and I feel a little better.

I agree w/scissors- my go-to movies are Father of the Bride or The Princess Diaries (yeah, I know…lol The fact that really nothing really terrible ever happens and there’s always a happy ending in a Disney movie makes me feel better for an hour or two)) I also get on youtube and find some really hilarious videos (WKUK works almost every time- LOVE THEM! 😛 )

Things will get better. 🙂
