Don’t worry about this.  Yes, the cookies are green, and if you want to ask for a partial refund, I think you should.  The cookies look awesome, but they are not what you ordered.

As for the guests though, trust us- they totally won’t notice!  Don’t waste your energy on this.  Focus on bigger things.  Congrats on your wedding tomorrow!!

lunafreya :  I don’t know under what lighting that would look silver… Make sure you take several pictures under different lighting types to prove to her that this is green and get at least a partial refund. I think your guests will still enjoy them, but this is not what you were going for and you deserve to be upset. I had a similar situation happen with my flowers (bouts and corsages not being available in the flower I chose) and I remember feeling stressed, and then feeling stressed that I was stressed about a small detail, but still feeling stressed. It’s okay to expect the correct thing from the vendor–BUT… don’t let this ruin your wedding day as well.

Don’t even worry about that! The cookies are lovely and nobody cares what color they are. Everything doesn’t have to be matchy matchy. The chicken you’re serving doesn’t match your colors. If you are serving ice cream, I doubt it’s in your wedding colors and the cookies don’t need to coordinate either. They look beautiful and fun and people will be pleased to have them.

They’re beautiful. If this is the worst thing over the next few days, you are truly blessed. Try to relax, because OMG! You’re almost a married lady! And tomorrow is going to ROCK and be emotional and so happy you won’t even notice!

No one will notice or care.

More importantly, no one knows what you originally wanted and that they are not what you wanted. So don’t apologize for them or say anything.

There is a point where you have to give up control and what happens happens. No one knows what you planned and will not know (or care) if things don’t go exactly as planned.

lunafreya :  Don’t worry dear. It still looks beautiful. It won’t matter because you’ll look beautiful and happy and that’s all your husband will care about.

I would be annoyed too because I’m a perfectionist but remember that something always goes “wrong” during a wedding and if this is the only thing, it’s so small in the grand scheme. Don’t stress!

Man, that is such a minor detail that I would not even expect a discount, ha ha I’d just ask if she woud give me a couple free cookies next week or something.

Your baker definitely did not come through with what you ordered and she promised. Those cookies have green print. However, they look fantastic, and are beautifully done. Your guests will love them. I can understand being disappointed, but don’t get too upset about it! You’re going to be married tomorrow! And with everything else going on, the color of the print on the cookies will fade away.
