lunafreya : The flowers thing seemed huge at the time, but in reality, I pretty much forgot about them until i was reading your story. They’re just flowers… Our wedding party still had something to recognize them and that’s what mattered, haha. Your guests will still have a nice favor to thank them for coming. Bride brain makes you think small things are just so huge! What everyone is saying is true–something always goes wrong but if this is all there is, you’re going to have an awesome wedding! Congrats on your marriage and enjoy your day!

wow they do still look great! Though I totally see how they aren’t the aesthetic you want. I really can’t see how those would look silver in any light…I agree with PPs they’re beautiful enough just take a deep breath and have your happy day, I’m sure nobody will notice. Then maybe ask the friend who referred you if they’ve ever had an experience like that with the baker, and I would ask for a refund or credit towards a future item(maybe something less technical) They’re a professional baker, its a wedding, the problem was adressed and not solved to satisfaction, at any point when the first ones didn’t work they could have said that they couldn’t do it and you could have found someone to do the item you wanted.

Your guests won’t notice the difference, but I’d still ask for some sort of compensation.
