Just tell the jeweler to make the bars on the wrap longer so the wrap will sit flush with you e-ring. They shouldn’t have bent it out to fit your e-ring. That will fix your issues and you will get to keep that beautiful wrap. Your ring looks gorgeous with it.

Does the bottom of the wrap have bars like this? This is what I mean by bars. If so have the jeweler make them longer so they will sit straight and flush with your e-ring. The reason it had the gap is because they bent it out so your e-ring would fit between them. I had the jeweler make my bars longer to fit the width of my e-ring so they would sit straight and flush. I hope this helps you. Post pictures if it works out for you. Best of luck.

cloud9bride :  *Retracted* Thought OP was asking for a ‘do you like this, if yes, why? If no, why answer, not a way to make it work. Apologies.

Personally I like both options but really do like the second one. I understand what you mean when you say you’re worried about it looking dated as I have a marquise engagement ring and had the same concern. However, I think it looks beautiful I love the two tone and I really think it’s makes your engagement ring look spectacular! Go for the second one, particularly if it ties into hubby’s ring xx

I kind of dig the two-tone band, but I would just go for one instead of the wrap (two). The pear shape is so pretty on it’s own & I think the one two-tone band would really look lovely with it.

I didn’t like the first one at all, it looks way too busy in my opinion. The latter is a bit better, sits beautifully and yellow gold details give it a nice appearance. But it changes the look of your diamond, which is unfortunate. If I were you I’d go with well, neither of them.

Agree! With previous posters. The way the band looks after fitting it to your ring looks amazing! I think the gap looks great and just flows so nicely.
