I haven’t eaten sweets since Ash Wednesday because I gave them up for Lent.  Yesterday I had two slices of hummingbird cake and lots of those little mini cadbury hard shell eggs.

I don’t feel bad about it yet since I’d gone so long without, but I just have to make sure I don’t start indulging a little too often.

I fall off the wagon probably once every 2 weeks.  But I’ve decided not to stress it too much.  I give myself a day a week to eat something I truly enjoy, or else I will be miserable.  I bet when you go back to eating healthy, those lbs will disappear and you’ll be right back where you want to be.  Where you can continue toward your goal.  Just don’t deprive yourself of too much ๐Ÿ™‚

@jennifer – i agree 100%. i try not to “cut anything out”… as the rule is, when  you start eating it again, you’ll end up right where you were before you gave it up… or worse off!

i say EVERYTHING is eatable in MODERATION. i def ate a lil too much of the easter feast yesterday… and am paying for it today… i ate yogurt for bfast… and am trying to snack on cheese and nuts all day… then home to another jillian workout!

haha, I was in Mexico last week and lived off guacamole/chips/dip and strawberry pina coladas all week long, LOL. I was reading Self and am now doing a “clean food” diet for maybe 7-10 days (no processed foods, lemon juice instead of salad dressing, no sauces, steamed veggies and fishes, no beef, very little chicken, yogurt, low carbs–basically easily digestable things like protein shakes) and ramping up my cardio like a maniac. I hit spin at 6am this morning and felt like i was in mud the ENTIRE time. I fell off pretty hard, haha.

LOL – I’m with jennifer when she said she falls off once every 2 weeks! I have been pretty ‘bad’ lately myself. Due to car problems, I haven’t been able to go do my regular workouts in the am for the past week (yes I know I could work out at home but that’s another topic) so I’ve been enjoying the ‘time off’ so to speak. It is extremely hard to get back in the groove to exercise once you’ve been ‘off’ for several days though, so not looking forward to it ๐Ÿ™

It sounds like you had a great Easter weekend, even though you splurged on some tasty stuff. I’m willing to bet that you’re just bloated from all the sodium, and it’s not ‘real’ weight gain if you know what I mean. Give it a week of working out & eating healthy and weigh yourself again ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh gosh… I did HORRIBLE this weekend, so don’t feel so bad.

All we did was eat. From Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon, I seriously gained 4 lbs. Probably just bloated, but still. And, I hit my all time high weight! Ugh.

GOOD LUCK!! I have faith in all of you ๐Ÿ™‚

Im up 2.5 pounds thanks to a very social easter weekend…dont feel bad it happens…just make up for it this week! Im going to try to…and Im gonna work out 4 times this week instead of my regular 3.

4 pounds in one weekend?  That means that you injested an additional 12,000 calories.

Most likely you are bloated from eating excess sodium and gained a little weight.

Drink a lot of water, don’t eat carbs after 3:00 pm, don’t eat anything after 6:00 pm and stay away from the salty food!
