Hive, I bought a GORGEOUS, coutoure Martina Liana sample gown in dupioni silk, with a zip up back and crystal buttons. One problem…when I bought the dress, I was wearing on the upper side of a street 18, and the dress is a 12. Well, I just tried it on again after months of diet and excercise, and it is THISCLOSE to zipping up all the way! I would say, one more inch or so from my bust, and i am in this baby! I really needed and wanted to lose weight for myself, not for a dress, but the dress sure is good motivation! When I bought it, I figured I could probably convert it to a corset style if I needed to, but I really prefer buttons, especially the ones on this dress. I have three months until my ceremony, and it is so close right now! I am so relieved and HAPPPPPY! I just wanted to express my happiness, even if no one reads this post!

What great work! I know you can get that final bit off and your dress will fit like a glove. If not, at this point it’s easily altered.
