I have spent the last two days literally calling every bridal store in a 200km radius trying desperately to find the Allure 8825 ot try on, with aboslutely no luck whatsoever.
I just got a call from the bridal shop I have an appointment in and they’ve tracked it down for me and are brigning it in for me to try on in September!
Just had to share because I know that no one but the bees will be excited 😛

*Phew* I thought I was the only crazy bird going hundreds of klicks to try on dresses. When my fiance heard how far I was going in one trip, he got pretty upset and asked why I couldn’t just have it brought in to a bridal shop to try on. I had to patiently explain that they’d only do that if I bought the dress first, so in the end it’s much cheaper for me to travel and say no to the dress than to buy it without trying it on and say no. He’s still upset. Oh well 🙂

Of course I will-FI already said to me “you do know that after all this work it still might not be THE dress, so don’t be upset, ok?” LOL, he knows me wayyy too well.
Now I have to wait all the way until Sept 10…ahhhh 😛

I did the same to track down a sample for Maggie Sottero Tabitha. Finally found a shop, arrived there and there had been a mix-up and they didn’t have it after all.
They were incredibly kind, and listened so well (better than any other salon): and I eventually tried on, fell in love with, and bought the Allure 8825.
Allure 8825 is beautiful. It had all the details that I wanted: lace, no beading, buttons all the way, sweetheart (altered to be strapless), sexy fit, buttons all the way, princess seams. Did I mention the buttons?
It truly combined all the best features of the “I like these” dress photos that I had brought with me. I hope you like it as much!
