my mom is the same way. it was funny i walked into hobby lobby today and screeched eeeeeeeeeee CHRISTMAS!! they have all of their stuff out already!!! we have these cute little potted christmas trees that i was looking at today i love christmas but i have to figure out where to store them since our new place is so much smaller lol!!! but luckily we were able to sell quite a few things on craigslist today (we had a fridge etc that we had to sell because the new landlord wouldn’t let us bring it in).
i have no idea what i am getting m for christmas. i think i’ll try to get him a laptop (he really wants one and this would stop him from using mine!!) but we’ll see if i can save that much before then because i would want to spend less than 500 on it… maybe i’ll get him a netbook, he may like that better because it’s more portable and he can get on the internet. for anything else he can just use my computer…. for the kids i’ll probably get a handheld video, some dvds, etc really fun stuff.

Congratulations! I absolutely love coming home to my FH everyday…it’s the best feeling in the world! And I’m totally with you on the living-together-before-marriage thing. I honestly feel that it has brought us closer. And double YAY for working at the craft store! Genius!

@littleoctopus: i love when M walks through the door. Usually we look at each other dead in the eyes and just grin… I <3 him so much. I never knew that anyone so perfect for me existed… and how lucky am I to have met him?! He is truly made for me… btw I have never mentioned this to anyone but when I was in the second grade I had the hugest crush on a boy named Mike. I loved the name because it was so strong and athletic and alluring to me, well I promised my self when I was SEVEN that when I got married I would marry a guy whose last name began before mine (I HATED WAITING IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER) and whose first name was Mike. Well, my M is actually Michael (Mike for short) and last name begins with an H.. My initials are LBM… so it’s like I feel like the character in the Sandra Bullock movie where she wants the guy who can make pancakes fly etc and there he is… sigh. I’m just so lucky!! He’s so funny he can drive me utterly crazy but I wouldn’t have it any other way….
