The darker diamonds are probably included, or have a low clarity. Tiny diamonds like that are usually called melee. They are very inexpensive usually so when you take it in to have the baguette replaced ask them to swap out the darker ones too.  It’s such a pretty design that I think it is worth fixing up a bit. It will make a huge difference in the look of the ring!

Wow, they are very pretty but seem quite expensive to me? Are they by some big brand?

I don’t think it’s missing any baguettes. There is a brown shadow on an entire stone on lower right side and parts of other ones. The same brown shadow shows on some of the melee. But I’m pretty sure that is some kind of reflection from the person taking the picture-  from their clothing camera or lights. In the sideways pic you can see that all stones look clear and all baguetts appear to be intact. The answer will be revealed soon enough however and I can’t wait to see pics!

SwedishBee:  Thanks for your reply. I’m actually familiar with the prices being higher than US, and the overall pricepoints at least to an extent, since I’m a fellow Scandinavian and have bought most of my collection preloved – through Ebay, on holidays and locally. (Also repairs and modifications for them when needed plus a couple of custom pieces done locally.)

But as you pointed out, Bukowski’s known for the more “exclusice products”. Could it be that the rings were handmade by a local artisan or that they are big brand name vintage pieces? Both of them look like they could be actual vintage pieces? And by vintage here I mean pre 60’s.

SwedishBee:  Oh, no! So you had to return the rowe gold ring?! That was my favorite, but your others are beautiful, too. Enjoy!
