@licelot13: Why is everyone so quick to suggest a lawsuit? There are better ways to approach this sort of thing, and you’d lose far more money pursuing a lawsuit than you would get back from it so it’s not worth it. If they had it all in the contract then just show them that and take steps from there. If it’s not laid out in the contract it’s on the couple for not making sure the contract included everything they wanted in there.

@Miss CuppyCake: Thanks for the update, and I agree with you, I feel like they could have done more.  But I’m sure your negative reviews will make people think twice about the place… and I think it really brings attention to this subject to future brides– there is a good chance that the person you sign your contract with may not be working there when your wedding day arrives.  It’s something more to discuss at your first appointment (the what if’s).

Food aside, I’m glad your day was perfect — it’s the love that is everlasting.
