I was making myself absolutely crazy when Fiance and I were looking at rings.  He finally just went and picked something based on alllllllllllll the rings I had tried on and found online.

I am so glad he did it that way.  Otherwise I would still be driving myself crazy looking at rings.

I was / am there. He asked me to go ring shopping with him and I could not decide between a very vintage antique halo with lovely scroll work on the band and an artsy super modern bezel setting with swirls. When I had it narrowed down to those two I decided that I would probably be just as happy with either of them so he gets to choose and is having something custom made. I also coudln’t decide between rose gold and platinum. I can’t wait to see what he comes up with… even though I know I have at least anothier 4 months to wait for the ring to be done.

@CholeLeAnn: I think that was a great solution.

Maybe let him have the final pick of the styles you like.  That is what I would do.

I sort of had this problem. I had my choice narrowed down to about five rings, but I couldn’t narrow the field any more than that, so I let him make the final decision and surprise me when he proposed!

@Andr0meda:i would say keep looking. i had the exact same feelings when we were picking out my setting and i almost went with a solitaire because i didn’t want to deal with it anymore. i’m so glad i kept looking because i have the most perfect ring ever!

Have you been trying the different styles on with your wedding band? I think halos are gorgeous but a ring that didn’t sit flush with my band would drive me nuts.

You sound really undecided, so I would just give it some time. Maybe try not to think about it for a week or two and see if that brings any clarity. Better to wait a bit than to have regrets. Also, remember that there will always be future opportunities for rings in the other styles you like–for example, you could get a colored gemstone in a halo setting or a three stone ring as an anniversary present in a few years. Just because you don’t wear it as your engagement ring doesn’t mean you can never own one!

Congratulations on your wedding!!!!

Fiance wanted my input so I bookmarked several pictures on her computer and she made the final choice. It’s really hard when you have a say, but months later, I am glad she made the final choice.

I went psycho after looking at too many and got super overwhelmed.  my Fiance made the final call and I’m so glad he did– I don’t think I could have ever chosen by myself!

btw he went with a simple, round solitare, which was my very first thought on my e-ring 🙂

Hello, wedding date twin!  I thought nobody else would get married on a Monday!

I think you should keep looking.  There is a perfect ring out there waiting for you–you just need to find it!

I think you should stick with the ring you have until you are sure about what you want.  That or get a plain solitaire that you can add a wrap to later on.  Or just let your Fiance pick your ring 🙂
