That is bad.  I made the same comment to my husband a few weeks ago when we saw some women in a resturaunt all dressed up for a prowling night.  I felt bad, but I was SO happy at that moment that I didn’t have to deal with the whole “dolling up” and waiting for the nasty guys to hit on me anymore.

Im really glad im done dating too πŸ™‚ But im not gonna lie…i had a lot of fun getting dolled up and going out with my girls and see what we found out there! Lots of fun times and great stories! I still try to go out with my girls every once in a while…i cant WAIT to have a ring though because im tired of getting hit on by drunk dudes. haha. They will even do it when im with BF! He doesnt mind it…not a jealous type…which i really enjoy….he actually takes it as a compliment when guys hit on me! haha

Ick! Some guys are so gross and inappropriate! I would hate to go back to that “meeting someone” stage. Cheers to our wonderful men!

Both Fiance and I hated the dating games. We were talking about it last night– how glad we are we don’t have to dress to impress anymore! Haha, not that we don’t take care, but on a night like last night where I was feeling crappy but still needed to be at church I didn’t have to worry about impressing anyone. My man already loves me πŸ™‚

Cobalt, he actually said “semi-good looking”???? I would’ve replied back, ‘Well I may be only semi-good looking, but you’re a total a$$hole!”

Wow. I would have smiled, grabbed a napkin, written a number on it and told him, “Here’s the number of my eye doctor. I would call them asap since your vision is obviously quite impaired” and walked away. So ridiculous.

Ugh.  Dating.  I hated it!  I was single at 33 after a divorce and can I tell you it’s wierd after being married and not dating for like..over a decade!

I found guys to be insensitive, aggressive, and jerky for the most part.  I went on one blind date and the guy asked me out again at the end of the date but since I wasn’t interested in him, I said gently to him “I don’t think this will work for either of us.”  He tried to pressure me to see him again and I said no.  Then he said sarcastically “well you are a mom and you should be glad anybody would want to date somebody with that much baggage.”

I am too much of a lady to ever slap somebody but I looked at him, laughed and said “well I was right about you when I said no wasn’t I?  Good luck, you’re gonna need it.”

It scared me so much I almost quit the thought of dating and remember crying for about a week afterwards because I was scared guys were like that at my age.  I had one relationship besides the one with T, and it was with my college boyfriend who had also divorced.  We tried the long distance thing b/w here and Nashville, but with my crazy schedule and his (lawyer) we had too much difficulty.

Thank God I am never going to have to be “out there” again.

I try not to say anything like this to my single friends, but I’m glad to be done dating too ;o)

Similar to Cobalt’s story, a friend and I were eating dinner outside the other night in the city (so pretty much sitting right on the street) and a guy approached.  He told my friend that she was a “6” and that if she went out with him, she might be an “8”  I was like, seriously, is this what passes for flirting now?
