My family is very against sex before marriage. We are in ABSOLUTELY no financial position to have a child right now. I have a VERY irregular cycle, and can go anywhere from 3-10 weeks in between periods (I’ve never had it go longer, but the doctor told me if it does to come in for a check and they can trigger it. It’s a bit like a cleaning system, and your body needs to do it often enough). My mom was the same way for her whole life, so it’s not dangerous, just REALLY ANNOYING. We had a condom break several weeks ago and we’ve been getting steadily more worried.
I’m in the exact same boat as you, I got it today.
THANK YOU GOD.

@DreamInColor: I hope you get the result you want!!
My period was 2 weeks late last August and I totally freaked out!! That would have really messed up my wedding date 10 months later!! Anyway we’re being extra careful in the run-up to the wedding, we have enough on our plate as it is 😛

Haha I go through this same thought process every month! “Oh no, im bloated, I better not be pregnant, I couldnt fit in my dress at 5 months pregnant.” I used to skip my periods with my birth control pills, now I happily welcome it! 😛

Yes! I had a scare a few months ago. It would have made me be almost full term at the wedding. It was terrifying.

Our little man is 9 months old right now and we were originally planning to start trying to have another little one in 3 months when he turns 1…buuuut since we’ve decided to get married and planned the wedding for August, we’re waiting until after that. I wouldn’t be angry if I got pregnant before the wedding, but I would rather wait! I don’t want to be pregnant for my wedding…
