@MadameX:  my SO is a researcher….so he actually has more ideas about things than I do, when he wants to know about something he investigates every detail he can find.

SO is a researcher too; he researches and compares before committing to any purchase or making a decision on something.  Like once he bought me black boots and spent hours searching the net fro the right spec.  awww 🙂

I doubt that he has been on a forum or searched the internet about wedding/engagement things like I have though.

My SO is the worst for this. We’re not engaged yet (he has to meet my family who live abroad) and he browses wedding stuff at work. A colleague used our venue and he’s been picking his brain about it (and about 5 door cars for when we have little ones). So sweet but he’s the least subtle person I know so it’s only a matter of time until our office knows.

SO just needs to know when and where and he will show up. He’s been talking to a jeweler this wk so I guess you can say he’s doing something.

@MadameX:  My SO is more excited about the wedding than I am, and we’re not engaged yet.  We have a bit of role reversal, and I try to keep a sense of humor about it.  Although I appreciate his enthusiasm, it would be nice to get past Step 1 before we start talking about Step 10 or Step 11 🙂

@MadameX:  It’s mostly me, but he did send me a Yahoo article on 15 ways to have a less expensive wedding (or something like that).  *rolling eyes*

Well I’m not sure if he’s looked up wedding things per say, but when the topic of wedding comes up (not engaged yet) he does express his dream wedding or things about the wedding he wants. I’m totally wedding crazy lol and we pretty much know what we want. The biggest thnig for him was that he wants an outdoor wedding  and even tho we are a very religious couple we both agreed that “church” doesn’t mean “blessed”. We really are very traditional but only to things we peronally care about. We are also most likely aying for it ourselves when the time comes and I’ve expressed my thoughts on me not personally wantign to spend a bunch of money on a wedding when it can go towards saving for a house and kids in the future. So we basically know what we want and are just waiting and saving so we will be able to have OUR dream wedding than our FAMILIES dream wedding.

He really enjoys looking at wedding magazines if I am, and is involved if I get him to be, but he doesn’t really look on his own. Which is ok. But he really loves looking WITH me.

I think Darling Husband came up with all my favorite wedding ideas! Like naming our tables after places we love, and putting pictures of the places on the tables!

I research everything for us. I even had to look up SO’s route to work when he got a new job. If he’s been looking up anything wedding related, I’d be shocked.

@Jewelieee:  That made me laugh out loud (I imagine the only type of link I’d get from SO either :-p)
