I actually got my first Brazilian about a week ago at 8 weeks. It hurt, but it was bearable. I think I may try to keep it up. It just makes me feel better to not be hairy when I also feel tired, sick, and bloated.

If I can’t see it, then it doesn’t exist.

I am only 8 weeks but I have had 2 brazilians since then.  I have enough purchased for the whole year so I would like to think I will keep up with it.

Not pregnant yet but I got laser hair removal on the whole area so I dont have to worry about it. Best money I have ever spent! I would never let me husband shave it – way too scary!!! Haha. I agree with other PPs though that noone at the hospital will care and you ddefinitely dont want to worry about the discomfort of stubbles while healing. Ouch.

I did the best I could to shave. I’m sure it looked like a real hack job!

I waxed myself during my whole pregnancy last time, except the last time, I was at about 37 weeks I went to the salon because I coudn’t reach.    I wax most of it and then keep the rest neat with the clipper on 0.

As of some weeks ago I started grooming without looking , just by touch.  It hasn’t been easy, but I think it does the job.  DH offered to do it, but I feel funny about it.

i’m about to go on a babymoon to Maui, SOME grooming will be required. It doesn’t help that I can’t see what I’m doing down there… However, if I’m rocking an 80’s porno bush in the delivery room, onlookers better just flow with it.

Yeah, I can’t see anything, so I wish I could clean up but it’s more trouble than it’s worth!

I am also not pregnant but have thought of this..I considered either going the brazillion route like some pp have or else just shaving by touch…that is what I have in my head but we will see when the time comes how easy that is haha

Definitely plan to groom somehow though, just for my own comfort and self-awarness.

@sara79:

Hate to break it to you….but when you get pregnant it will all likely grow back. I had laser hair removal on my bikini area (full Brazilian) and under arms – basically the minute I got pregnant it was like I never had the laser done. Very disappointing considering the time and money spent. I shave now to keep myself groomed and will do so up to delivery I hope!

@Ugoob:  I was going to groom on my due date. Cue day early delivery! I’d shaved down their a few days before for my stretch and sweep thankfully so it wasn’t extremely unruley. I just kept it tidy throughout for my own comfort.

I’m 37 weeks and shave my legs, armpits, and lady parts every day.  I prefer baths to showers, so that makes it easier to shave my legs.  Luckily I’m pretty flexible.  It’s definitely getting harder to shave down there because of my massive belly!
