I’m feeling kinda lousy, but also strangely happy because today I went out and cheated on my dress, for the second time. Some of you may have come across my other post about going out to look for another dress after mine had some technical difficulties. Mainly a huge roll of fabric under my stomach. I took it to a seamstress and the issue was drastically reduced, but I’m afraid that it will still show in pictures. So I decided to go out and look, and while I did find many pretty dresses, I didn’t find one I loved more than the one I already have, hence being happy. So I decided to search again today because I have been keeping an eye out for used dresses just in case mine turns into a disaster short notice and I can’t order another. Well, I went, and I looked, and I found a gem. But ultimately I can’t get over my first dress! I guess I’m just going to have to stick it out and wait until my dress is steamed to see if the last little roll irons out and hope for the best. But in the meantime, I’ll share my find of today with you!
The one from the last excursion!
And finally my dress, pre-alteration to fix ugly roll:
What do you think??

I still LOVE your original gown! I’m hopeful a seamstress can remedy things for you. If you have to choose another gown, I’d pick the one from your previous “excursion”. Keep us posted!

I completely agree with melissip. What the heck is up with that roll though?!

I love the bodice from your last excursion a lot but the bottom isn’t doing it for me. I don’t really care for today’s find … it looks like it’s hanging off you. I do love your initial dress, so hopefully they can fix it. That is a very odd roll!

My favorite is definitely your original dress (even with the weird roll!), but the dress in the second picture is also very pretty on you. Good luck with the seamstress!

I have to be honest and say that I love the one from your last excursion but I do love your org dress. I’m not a fan of this latest one sorry 🙁

Prefer the original, babe. Keep working on reducing that bulge and you will be happy you stuck with her! 🙂

original dress all the way (minus the roll).

Thanks for the input ladies! It was nice to reaffirm my original decision. Now let’s just hope the dress turns out right!

Your original choice seems more beautiful on you. I like strapless mermaid one. And the shining decorations of the orginal dress flatter your figure 🙂

Your original dress is by far my fav! I also think it is the most flattering… you look stunning in that dress (even with the odd roll of fabric). 🙂 I’m sure that will be gone as soon as it is steamed.

I really like dress #1 BUT when I saw dress #3 (your dress) I LOVE IT! You should stick with it!!!!

yes it is! Why?
That is what I think every time I look at the pictures! I just can’t leave it!
