so i found my dress. i am in love. my BFF loves it. my mom and dad loved it too… the problem is that it is double what i wanted to spend (it is only 900.00). and i have come to terms with the price. i would be so willing to pay it. should i keep dress looking? it was the fifth dress i have EVER tried on…. it doesn’t bother me that i only hit one store but i don’t know if i should try to find a cheaper version. My dress is an Alfred Angelo.

It looks amazing on you! But how big of a problem is the price tag?

I would recommend trying at least one other salon to see if you can find something in your budget that you love. If not, go for the budget-breaker! I would just hate to see you on here in 6 months expressing dress-regret because you didn’t stick to your budget.

You should call around for prices on it… see if another salon can sell it to you for cheaper. I know that the Bridal Mart in Burlington, NC sells AA dresses and they literally have the best prices anywhere. They’d probably ship it to you also. A friend got her dress there, and she got a great deal.

That is a very pretty dress. I got mine at Alfred Angelo (#2063 very low key). That dress has been getting a lot of press so I doubt it is going anywhere. If it is out of your price range I might just check out a few more stores and make sure you feel comfortable with the price (which you probably will once you find out the prices of any other dresses you like) and truly love the dress. It is hard to go out of your price range but it is good to see what else is out there.

It’s a beautiful dress!! If you think it’s the ONE I say stop looking (as long as your ok with the price), but if you even have a shred of doubt, keep looking.

That’s my dress! Call around to different salons and see if you can get a better deal somewhere. That’s what I did and I saved over $150!

From your picture, it looks like you’re in an Alfred Angelo store. If that’s the case, they periodically have sales and coupons. Since you still have a little over a year, wait until the next sale.

If there’s enough time left, I think you should keep looking. I’m sure you can find something as pretty in your price range. 🙂

Will you be ordering the dress or is it a sample with the risk of another person purchasing it today? If it will be an order I suggest to shop around more (for better prices) or continue looking for similar styles at a lower price range. You should have enough time to do so.
It sounds like you have some doubts about the price and it would suck to have dress regrets or buyer’s remorse for the next 14 months. The dress looks great on you and that style works well for your body type. Now that you know that, shopping around should be easier. 🙂
