First let me say that I can tell you (admittedly from experience) that you are NOT the only bride that stalks the registry. It is fun and exciting. I didn’t stalk it because I cared what people bought us. I just looked because it was so thrilling to know that people took the time and bought us anything we had asked for.

I had my bridal shower last weekend and I have two items that have been checked off but I don’t physically have from BBB and I had two items on target thatI received but were never checked off (how cool, we have the same registries). But I think the Target thing could have been because my grandmother doesn’t quite “get” how to use a registry. LOL

I totally love stalking the registry too!  I think it’s good to be able to update, especially if you maybe registered for similar items at both stores.

I’ve been known (in my pre-engaged status)  to print off the registry but not tell the cashier.  It’s just too hard, right!   I guess I didn’t want to ruin the surprise?????

I guess if you end up with 2 of one item because of irresponsible people like me, you can always return them, and just consider the one you keep as from both people!

I’m kind of against returning gifts in general…..but something like that wouldn’t bother me because you still have the item…just 1 instead of 2!

I’m a crazy registry stalker as well! We’re registered at BB&B and Macy’s. Macy’s makes it incredibly easy to stalk and you can even find out who bought what.
