First of all, this is my first post to WeddingBee! I have been a lurker for a while now and have gleaned much helpful info from the many Bees on this site. How fabulous is this place??
I have considered posting before, but up till now, I was content just to watch and learn.
Then what I like to call the Shoe Event took place. I fell in love. They are the Vera Wang Lavender Label “Luna” shoes in Blush or Taupe. I had foot surgery a few years ago, so I’m gonna have to wear flats to our wedding this July. The light pinky color is perfect. The open peep toe is perfect. The cute little (who am I kidding, the big-honking) rhinestones are perfect. everything is!!! but every store I go to (and every store I look at online) is sold out in my size.
I wear a 10… I know this makes me something of a big foot, but come on!! it’s not THAT big. I know if I’m asking for a shoe to magically appear in my hands (or on my feet), I should really be looking on the classifieds board. But unfortunately, there are already posts there looking for this shoe which have been fruitless. And so I turn to my fellow Bees for help.
This is the shoe in taupe:

and this is the shoe in blush:

hopefully you can see why i’m OBSESSED. nothing i’ve found has compared!!
which is where you all come in– does this shoe remind you of any other shoes you’ve seen? any recommendations of similar shoes?
or (miracle of miracles) are you able to find this shoe in my size? if you can you are a mega shoe guru because i’ve scoured the web and come up dry.
I appreciate any help you can give!

you are super! actually, in my never ending search, i believe i saw some of those… but i needed the reminder! i really like the kate spade shoe… it’s pretty close to perfect. if it were a touch more pinky it would be the shoe. as it is, it may end up being the shoe anyways!!
i love the shoe you said you almost went with… the astros. sadly, there’s no gold in our wedding, so it would maybe look a little funky.
what did you end up choosing for your day? ‘
thanks for the help ๐

Funny thing is, we didn’t technically have gold in our wedding, but uh, I added it hah! Plus I figure that shoes don’t count as the wedding colors. But that’s because I went with these Christian Louboutins….

And no problem ๐ I love looking at shoes. I just happened to obsess and obsess over the ones I ended out getting for months before I finally just bit the bullet and spent more money than I ever dreamed I would on shoes!

@Tuna: Are you familiar with http://www.like.com? You do a search on that site for the product you are looking for.
In the results under the picture of the shoe you are looking for, click on “Virtual Search”. Thsi will bring up similar products- in your case shoes.
